10th Birthday
I bought this Honda CB200 a couple years ago for my Daughter. The bike wasn't running when I picked it up, but I thought it would be a fun project bike and I could most certainly finish it before she was big enough to ride it. Maisie had other ideas concerning the repair schedule and she made sure that I was aware of the importance of speeding up the process. My daughter turned ten on October 24th, and for the week before her birthday I tore into the bike; rebuilt the carbs, replaced the battery, found and replaced the headlight, etc. It was definitely worth the effort. Seeing the look on her face when the bike was brought to life is something I'll never forget. There are a couple of issues yet to deal with... but for the time being, I have happy ten year old.

Mods vs Rockers, Chicago 2009
This image is from the Mods vs Rockers event at Delilah's in Chicago. I've made several attempts to attend the show over the past few years and finally made it. It's a long trip for me (from Phoenix), but most definitely worth the effort. Delilah's is already favorite hangout when I'm in Chicago... add 100's of classic British, German, Japanese, and American motorcycles and there is nothing better. Just grab a seat outside, order a cold beer and enjoy the view.

Speed Week, Bonneville Salt Flats
I just got back from "Speed Week" at the Bonneville Salt Flats, and have finally sorted through the images. There are quite a few to choose from (and I'll get more up soon) but here is a quick sample. The event itself was pretty amazing and I can hardly wait until next year, when I hope to not only make photographs but also run my old BMW r90s. We'll see how motivated I am by next August.
